The Information Technology team enables business excellence by delivering reliable systems, secure infrastructure, and scalable platforms. The team focuses on high availability, security, automation, and operational efficiency to support business-critical applications.

Role Description

The Senior Server Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting Linux-based infrastructure across Azure and on-premises environments. The role acts as an L2/L3 escalation point, drives automation initiatives, supports security and DR operations, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure infrastructure services.


Key Result Areas


  • Linux Server & Infrastructure Management – Administration, hardening, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).

  • Azure & Cloud Operations – Manage Linux virtual machines in Azure, monitor performance, optimize resources, and support cloud operations.

  • Automation & Scripting – Develop and maintain automation using Bash, Python, and PowerShell to improve operational efficiency.

  • Backup & Disaster Recovery – Support backup strategies, perform restore activities, and participate in DR drills.

  • Security Operations & Monitoring – Support SIEM and EDR tools such as Wazuh, Azure Sentinel, and CrowdStrike Falcon; assist in vulnerability remediation.

  • Directory Services– Work with Windows Active Directory environments for Linux integration, authentication, and basic troubleshooting.

  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing – Create and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and assist in mentoring junior team members.

Required Competencies, Skills, and Experience

  • Skills: Advanced Linux troubleshooting, automation and scripting, Azure VM management, security

  • monitoring, backup and DR support.

  • Knowledge: Linux operating systems, Azure infrastructure, SIEM/EDR tools, ITSM and SLA-driven

  • support environments, Windows Active Directory and Virtualization

  • Behavior: Analytical problem-solving, ownership mindset, collaboration, and willingness to mentor and document processes.
